China hosted the 2nd World Cup from September 17 to September 2001 in Wuxi
Ten nations were participating, while China as the host country was allowed to take part with two teams in each competition. With five gold and two silver medals Vietnam was the most successful nation. 2nd China 2, 3rd China 1, 4th Hungary.
From Europe, Pascal Salimberi (Germany) won a bronze medal in single.
